While this proves that community oversight is working, discovering an update of this magnitude entirely on our own—rather than through proactive communication from the district office to the parent who raised red flags—underscores a persistent lack of transparency in district governance.
With the Ninth Circuit recently blocking AB 1955, the California legal shield is officially gone. PUSD must stop playing defensive games and fully partner with parents.
